Korea-France Online Language Exchange Program

SWCIC hold ‘Korea-France Virtual Language Exchange Program’ for virtual language exchange programs in the second half of this year.

Through this program, Suwon residents and French people have time to exchange languages and cultures and discuss and communicate on various topics.

Students freely choose topics in advance and Korean students speak their opinion in French and French students speak in Korean during discussion.

When I participated in the program, the topic was ‘My favorite winter seasonal food’.

Participants introduced their favorite winter seasonal foods such as fruit tea, crab, Pyeongyang naengmyeon, and fish, and had time to learn how to make food and origins.

And I had a brief interview about the program with the participants!

Q:What motivated you to participate in the program?

A

:I learned French while studying abroad, but I forgot French.So I participated to learn it again.

:I was curious about the program, because there are few opportunities to speak with the French.

:I want to communicate and share language or culture with Korean.

Q:What did you learn or gain from the program?

A:I felt fear for speaking French at first, but the program gave me confidence in speaking French as I joined actively.

Q:What was the most impressive part of the program?

A:I was surprised that the French have a high level of knowledge of various parts and was motivated by the participants’ passion to learn.

Q:Are there any meetings between the participants outside of the program hours?

A:When the participant came to Korea in last summer, we met and looked around Suwon.We usually communicate through the chat room.

한불화상언어교류 소개

2022 하반기 화상 언어 교류 프로그램으로 한불 화상 언어 교류 프로그램을 진행하였습니다.이 프로그램을 통해 수원시 주민과 프랑스인은 언어와 문화를 교류하고 다양한 주제로 토론하며 소통하는 시간을 가집니다.참가자들은 자유롭게 주제를 정하고 한국인은 불어로, 프랑스인은 한국어로 토론하며 서로의 언어를 교류하고 문화를 공유하는 시간을 가졌습니다.

제가 취재한 날의 주제는 ‘즐겨먹는 겨울 제철 음식’이였습니다.

참가자들은 과일차,게,평양 냉면,생선 등 자신이 가장 좋아하는 겨울 제철 음식을 소개하였고 음식을 만드는 방법과 유래에 대해 배우는 시간을 가졌습니다.

그리고 참가자들은 대상으로 간단하게 인터뷰를 진행하였습니다.

Q:프로그램에 참여하게 된 동기가 있나요?

A

:해외에서 공부하면서 프랑스어를 배웠지만 시간이 지나 많이 까먹어 다시 배우기 위해 참여하였습니다.

:프랑스인과 소통할 기회가 거의 없기 때문에 프로그램이 궁금했습니다.

:한국인과 언어와 문화를 교류하고 싶어서 참여하게 되었습니다.

Q:프로그램에 참여하면서 배우거나 얻은 점이 있다면 무엇인가요?

A:프랑스어를 말하는데 두려움이 있었으나 프로그램에 열심히 참여하면서 프랑스어를 말하는데 자신감이 생겼습니다.

Q:프로그램에 참여하면서 가장 인상깊었던 점은 무엇인가요?

A:프랑스인의 여러 분야에 대한 높은 지식 수준에 놀랐고 참가자들의 배우려는 열정이 동기부여가 되었습니다.

Q:프로그램 시간 이외에 참가자들끼리 교류하는 시간이 있나요?

A:지난 여름, 참가자 중 한 명이 한국에 놀러와서 수원을 구경시켜주며 만남을 가졌고 주로 채팅방을 통해서 소통합니다.
