SWCIC hold a “making Kimchi” event

Suwon Center for International Cooperation is hosting a "Making Kimchi" program to welcome the winter season. The program is aimed at 16 foreigners living in Suwon, providing an opportunity to learn about Korean kimchi culture and experience of making kimchi in-hands. Through this kimchi-making experience, participants can immerse themselves in Korea's traditional food culture and communicate with foreign residents in Suwon. Additionally, participants can contribute to the community by delivering the sincerely prepared kimchi to neighbors in need, learning the spirit of volunteerism.

The event is scheduled for November 30th, and applications are accepted from November 15th to 24th. Interested individuals can submit their applications through the QR code on the poster.

수원시 국제교류센터, ‘김장문화체험’ 참가자 모집

수원시국제교류센터에서는 겨울을 맞아 “김장문화체험” 프로그램을 진행한다. 수원시에 사는 16명의 외국인을 대상으로 한국의 김장 문화에 대해 설명하고, 직접 김치를 담굴 수 있는 체험 기회를 제공한다. 김장 체험을 통해 참가자들은 한국의 전통 식문화를 경험하고, 수원시 거주 외국인들과 소통할 수 있다. 또한 참가자들이 정성껏 담근 김장 김치를 지역사회의 어려운 이웃들에게 전달한다. 봉사활동을 통해 지역사회의 보탬이 되는 보람을 느낄 수 있다. 행사는 11월 30일 진행 예정이며, 신청은 11월 15일부터 24일까지이므로, 프로그램에 관심이 있다면 빠른 시일 내로 신청서를 제출해야 한다. 포스터 내 QR코드를 통해서 신청서를 접수할 수 있다.
