Here is a summary of the events held at the Suwon International Exchange Center from June 3, 2023, to September 1, 2023:
**1st 2023 Exploring Suwon for international students – "We Are in(人) Suwon"**
On Saturday, June 3, 2023, the Suwon Center for international cooperation hosted the "2023 Suwon International Students Local Understanding Program." Seventeen members of the SCVA participated in the event. The program was organized into five themes: "The Beauty of Suwon," "Colors of Suwon," "Traditions of Suwon," "Sounds of Suwon," and "Filial Piety in Suwon." Participants joined programs related to their chosen theme.

**2nd Suwon Local Understanding Program – "We Are in(人) Suwon" with KT Wiz**

On Saturday, August 30, 2023, the Suwon International Exchange Center organized an enjoyable baseball-watching event in collaboration with KT Wiz. The event took place at the Suwon KT Wiz Park for 30 foreign residents living in the Suwon area. Alongside SCVA supporters, attendees enjoyed icebreakers, stadium tours, and lessons on cheering techniques.

However, due to inclement weather, the baseball game had to be canceled

"While engaging in the aforementioned activities, initially, communication and culture with foreigners, which felt distant at first, gradually became closer. Especially, through the preparation for the first presentation, I was able to overcome language and cultural fears and learned to handle them. It was a valuable opportunity that allowed everyone to feel a sense of regret about their own abilities and provided a chance to improve further. I express my gratitude to the Suwon Center for international cooperation for creating this opportunity."

This event was the first of its kind for the SCVA, and it was a significant and meaningful opportunity for all members to come together and engage.
