2023 Suwon Youth International Art Exchange Exhibition

Suwon Center for International Cooperation (SWCIC) has been holding the “Suwon Youth International Art Exchange Exhibition” to help students demonstrate their creativity and grow into global talents with cultural sensitivity. This year, an online exhibition will be held from September 1 to December 31 with the theme of ‘Peace and Our Friendship.’ Elementary and middle school students from Suwon City and 13 cities in 10 international sister and friendship cities participated in the exhibition.

Suwon City divides the 550 works into lower elementary school, upper elementary school, and middle school students and assigns 1 gold, 5 silver, and 10 bronze works for a total of 48 works. 3drawings that received the most LIKES will be awarded as the special popularity prize. After the exhibition ends, excellent works will be awarded and e-award certificates will be delivered to all participants. Additionally, 50 people who responded to reviews and surveys will be selected and given chicken and coffee e-gift vouchers.

We hope that the children's brilliant friendship story will be a strength to protect world peace. Also, we hope that public diplomacy through culture and arts will be revitalized through the international exchange exhibition.

2023 수원 초·중학생 국제교류 작품전

수원시국제교류센터는 학생들이 창의력을 발휘하고 문화 감수성을 지닌 글로벌 인재로 성장할 수 있도록 “수원 초·중학생 국제교류 작품전”을 개최해왔다. 올해는 '평화와 우리의 우정'을 주제로 온라인 작품전이 9월 1일부터 12월 31일까지 열린다. 수원시와 국제자매·우호도시 10개국 13개 도시 초·중학생들이 작품전에 참여했다.

수원시는 550점의 작품 중 초등저학년, 초등고학년, 중학생으로 나눠 우수작품 금 1점, 은 5점, 동 10점 총 48점을 정한다. 관람객의 가장 많은 '좋아요'를 받은 3개 작품은 '인기작품'으로 선정된다. 전시 종료 후, 우수작품을 시상하고 전체 참가자에게 e-상장을 전달할 예정이다. 또 관람 후기와 설문조사에 참여한 50명을 추첨해 치킨, 커피 기프티콘을 제공한다.

아이들의 빛나는 우정 이야기가 우리 모두의 세계평화를 지킬 수 있는 힘이 되기를 바라며, 국제교류 작품전을 통해 문화예술을 통한 공공외교가 활성화되기를 기대한다.
