2019 Suwon Cultural Hertiage Night

   Explore the night with history! Suwon Culture Night, an event to explore the nights and history of Suwon, was held from August 9 to August 11. The Hwaseong Fortress and Hwaseong Haenggung Palace was refurbished with media art under the shimmering lights in the evening. The event also offered eight types of 'Night Experience' that bear history of Suwon. Every corner of the fortress road has history and stories to offer a historical culture experience. We want to invite you to the Suwon Cultural Heritage Night, a special night journey to Suwon's cultural assets.

   The festival of this year began on Friday, August 9, 2019 and ended on Sunday, August 11. It is a free event hosted by the city of Suwon every year, while there are some chargeable events as well. You can enter Haenggung Palace by paying the same entrance fee as usual, or you can have free pass if you wear Hanbok or become Kaokao friend of the Suwon City. You can enjoy not only the palace night from 6 to 9pm from Tuesday to Saturday during the event but also various programs such as special performances, Light Photo Zone and old palace walking program accompanied by cultural heritage commentator.

   The event offeres visitors a very sepcial night trip with eight themes to experience the history and stories embedded in the fortress wall. The Hwaseong Royal Train, Bicycle Taxi and Flying Suwon are available at night, and we have the stamp and mission tour to explore every cultural asset in Hwaseong Haenggung. Furthermore, we still got more programs to enjoy. A tour with cultural heritage commentator begins every 20 minutes and videos on the culture and history of Suwon and Suwon Hwaseong unspool at all times. You can also join the program Shin Yun-bok and Na Hye-seok as well as Korean traditional game experience at Suwon Center for Traditional Culture. Food trucks are coming every year as well, so it is a good chance to take a walk at night with your lover and familiy.

역사를 품고 밤을 누비다! 수원 문화재 야행(夜行). 역사를 품고 밤을 누비는 문화재 야행이 개최됐다. 성곽건축의 꽃 수원화성과 화성행궁이 아름다운 밤빛 속에 미디어아트로 새롭게 단장하고 성곽길 굽이굽이 역사와 이야기를 품은 8야(夜) 체험을 담아 문화재로 향유하는 역사문화체험의 진수를 선사한다. 우리 문화재로 떠나는 아주 특별한 밤으로의 여행, 수원 문화재 야행(夜行)으로 여러분을 초대한다.

수원문화재야행은 2019년 08월 09일 금요일에 시작해서 08월 11일 일요일에 종료되었다. 매년 수원시에서 주최하는 행사로 무료로 관람할 수 있으며, 일부 유료행사도 있다. 기존 화성행궁 입장 요금으로 누구나 관람 가능하며, 한복을 입거나 수원시 카카오톡 친구일 경우 무료입장 할 수 있다. 특별 야간 개장 중 화요일부터 토요일 저녁 6시부터 9시까지 궁궐의 밤을 즐길 수 있다. 행사 기간 동안 특별 공연을 물론 빛의 포토존, 문화관광해설사와 함께하는 고궁 산책 등의 프로그램을 즐길 수 있다.

성곽길 굽이굽이 역사와 이야기를 품은 8개의 테마로 아주 특별한 밤의 여행을 선사한다. 화성어차와 자저거택시, 플라잉 수원이 야간에도 운영하며 화성행국 일원에서는 스탬프 투어와 미션투어를 통해 문화재 구석구석을 볼 수 있도록 야행 투어를 진행한다. 20분간격으로 진행되는 문화관광해설사 투어는 물론 수원과 수원화성의 문화와 역사를 주제로 한 영상 상영이 상시로 진행되며 신윤복과 나혜석을 주제로 한 프로그램과 화성행궁에서 펼쳐지는 화성행궁 별볼일, 그리고 수원 전통문화관에서 한바탕 벌어지는 전통놀이 한마당을 즐기기 바란다. 푸드트럭 역시 운영되니 사랑하는 연인과, 가족과 함께 밤산책으로 좋은 것 같다.
